Were you aware that search engine spiders love fresh content and the more frequently you update your content the more frequently spiders traverse your site?
Only The 1st Anchor Text Counts With Google

This made me panic a bit, because it would have meant that the footer link I had on this blog was not helping my homepage rank. I think someone even mentioned in the discussion that if the 1st link was nofollowed then that one would be the only one that counted, which would have meant that I was supposed to be completely shafting myself.
